Karachi: Spotify continues to celebrate the music in Pakistan with its listeners while also connecting local artists with new fans globally. This time, RADAR Pakistan, Spotify’s flagship music program for emerging local artists, is celebrating its 1 year anniversary in Pakistan with RADAR Fest Pakistan, and the music streaming platform has kicked off promotions with a bang. Launching RADAR Fest Pakistan as a grand affair, Spotify has elevated last quarter’s RADAR artist Maanu onto the global stage by featuring him not only at the digital billboard of Times Square, New York City, but also on four other iconic global locations, including Penn Plaza, New York, The Reef, Los Angeles, Leicester Square, London, and Cardiff, Wales as part of RADAR’s global creative approach.

In celebration of RADAR Pakistan completing its first anniversary in the country, Spotify has announced  its first-ever RADAR Fest to be held in Pakistan on the campus of LUMS in Lahore. An adrenaline-pumping festival that promises to be an exciting showcase of all four RADAR Pakistan artists and a vibrant celebration of music discovery.

RADAR stands as a pioneering force in Pakistan’s music scene, offering unwavering on and off-platform support to emerging artists. This program not only allows listeners to Meet The Future in music but also discover artists unlike ever before,” Khan FM, Artists and Label Partnership Manager for Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh commented. “Maanu’s journey from the city of Lahore to global prominence represents a historic moment for artists in Pakistan and underscores Spotify’s dedication to music discovery,” he added further.

RADAR has also undergone a vibrant transformation with a dynamic global rebrand whereby fans get to discover music. This new look is designed to resonate with Spotify’s core audience, taking on a distinctive creative approach to artist imagery combined with vivid, fun, and fresh colors. This rebranding represents the  program’s commitment to innovation and the future of music.

As the journey continues, Maanu’s global spotlight is just the beginning. Spotify’s RADAR program is an exciting trailblazer in the world of music, redefining how emerging artists are discovered, celebrated and promoted, as we currently witness with the latest RADAR artists Hassan & Roshaan.
