Govt reduces prices of essential items at Utility Stores: Miftah

Finance Minister Miftah Ismail says the government has reduced the prices of essential items at Utility Stores including sugar, ghee and flour.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said sugar is now available at the rate of 70 to 75 rupees per kilogram, which is the lowest price after 2019.

The Finance Minister said the incumbent government also brought improvement in load-shedding schedules with in few days.
